Hey guys and dolls, Target is giving out another free beauty bag. Last time, I scored some great goodies, like Fekkai shampoo and conditioner samples, a free lip balm, and a passel of great coupons.  This one appears to have some great samples, including an Aveeno moisturizer or cleanser that I have been dying to try. Go get it, tiger!

You all should definitely go over to my friend Sammi’s blog Utopista. Not only does this girl do ALL of her own graphic design and website programming, she also does some fantastic reviews and is always out looking for new, indie products to review. If you want a change of pace from your typical neutral eye looks and want some color inspiration, she’s your girl. Also, if you’re into nail polish, she is a great person to get reviews from. I am not as into nail polish as she is, so all you nailaholics will be sure to droll over her nail art.

On top of that, Sammi is having a huge giveaway to celebrate hitting One Hundred Followers on her Google Friend Connect.  You should check out her giveaway HERE! A list of the treats you could win:

Its summer, so I know many of us are trying to cut back to the lightest possible makeup we can possibly get away with, while not having a completely naked face. Recently, I have been testing out a moisturizer by Philosophy called Hope In a Tinted Moisturizer. I purchased this in the color Light.  I use Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar moisturizer exclusively, so I guess you could say I had lots of hope in this tinted moisturizer. Thankfully, this product did not fail me.

Hope provides sheer but build-able and non-greasy coverage. It has a slightly orange undertone, but it is easy to work around. Because it is so easy to waste this product, I use a brush to apply it. My one downfall with this product? The price. It is $38 for 1.7 fluid ounces. Considering that I generally use three pumps of this product to get the result I want, I find it to be an expensive option for my skincare needs. It is a great quick, no hassle way to even my skin, has the same moisturizing potency as my regular Hope in a Jar, but I am using more product. Is it worth the extra cost? The jury is still out on this one. My husband and I have decided that I should fulfill my dream of being a stay at home mother after our child is born. This means I need to do whatever I can to creatively save money.

Anyway, here is how one pump of the  product looks swatched on my arm.

So for the last month and a half or so, Physician’s Formula has had an amazing coupon out for $5 off. Yeah buddy!  When ShopKo had a 40% off all PF product promo, I went on a mini shopping spree, and it shows in my May Favorites video.

April is a big month for me. First of all, the weather is finally warming up! I am enjoying the sun and soaking up some Vitamin D.

April 17th is my first wedding anniversary. I can’t believe that my husband Scott and I have been married for a year now!  We have had some interesting times, but we are close and stronger than ever. Scott has been my greatest blessing!

Secondly, I have a new job!  I started on Monday. So, in celebration of spring, my anniversary, and my new job, I have a GIVEAWAY! Check out the video below for the prizes and the rules.
